I am spending most of my day getting ready for my interview tomorrow. I am researching the organization and learning everything that I can. I am browsing websites to practice interview questions and I am trying to craft the best story of me as I possibly can. I will have my outfit picked out before I go to sleep and I will try to get to bed early so I feel refreshed in the morning.
I have always hated the question, what’s your biggest weakness. I don’t know about you but I don’t like talking about my flaws. I don’t like turning something positive into a negative. I realize that the point of an interview is to see if you are the right “fit” for an organization. They’ve seen my resume so they know my experience. They know what my abilities are but they want to see if I am the right person that fits into their mold.
So, I will now spend a few hours preparing what I want to say. I need to craft the message to them about who I am and what I can bring to the table. I know I have the necessary skills to do the job, but I have to show them that I have the right “people” skills too. This is a taxing experience- but at the end of the day I can only show them the me that I really am.
If you have any interview questions that threw you, send them my way!
